Prepare a small quantity of white sauce:
1 tablespoon butter, melted. Add 1 tablespoon flour to the butter, blending well. Add salt to taste. Add ½ cup of milk and stir over a low heat until the mixture is thick and creamy.
Chop 2 onions and cook over a low heat in 1 tablespoon of butter until soft. Strain any excess liquied and add to the white sauce.
Use the sauce on rice.
